Great news. His ICP just went down to 16. That is the lowest it has been all day. And his fever came down into range and his breathing is normalized. The medicine they gave him is working. Thank you thank you for all of your prayers. We feel them.

Parker is doing as expected, but still very sick. They were able to reduce his ICP through medication, but it is still higher than they want. Keep those prayers coming. The next 24 hours are crucial.

Parker is doing okay. They are keeping a close eye on his pressure levels. If you want to pray for something specific, pray that his ICP levels will go down and stay down. That is the ratio of the pressure in his brain compared to the rest of his body. We have been so touched by your comments, prayers, texts and offers of help. We are in an unfamilar city, yet surrounded by love. Thank you.

Parker is doing well. He is stable and out of surgery. That writing says "no bone." They will keep him as sedated as possible for the next 2-3 days as the swelling will get worse and then hopefully much better.

It is amazing how quickly your life can change. I am sitting in the UCLA hospital waiting to see my sweet baby boy after undergoing open brain surgergy. Any prayers would be appreciated. He will need them over the next days and weeks. We were visiting good friends in Santa Barbara and Parker fell from a picnic table bench. He hit his head just wrong and had a seizure. After doing everything they could, he was finally life flighted from the tiny hospial in Goleta to LA where they removed part of his skull to allow swelling. Thank goodness for pediatric neurosurgeons who leave a date with their wife on a holiday weekend to save a little boy's life. We could really use your prayers. Hopefully they will bring him back from surgery soon. I have not seen him in 5 hours since we arrived and they whisked him away.

We are overcome with the love we feel. Thank you. God works miracles and I am thoroughly amazed at the capabilities of modern medicine. I feel so calm. I am emotional from lack of sleep, but so calm. He will pull through. He is such an amazing little boy and we feel your prayers.
