Perspective. One seizure is bad, then 4 in a week. Then 4 all in one day. First they are 4 minutes long. Then 5. Then 6. Then some are 7 minutes long.
This week we started out with 4-6 in a day. Then Tuesday or Wednesday he had about 1 an hour. Then Thursday 2 an hour. Friday he had 3 in just the first hour of waking up. That day he had 16 that I documented, not to mention the ones I missed or didn't see or forgot to write down. That night we took him to the ER. 16 seizures in a day. Today he slept all morning from the heavy drugs they were giving him. He woke up around 1:00 pm. In just the next 4 hours between 1-5pm he has 16 seizures.
16 seizures in 4 hours.
They did not let us go home for some strange reason. And that is even on 4 heavy duty anti seizure meds!
Hopefully we will find some answers soon and find the right meds. I really do not like the exponential rate these seizures are increasing. At all.
We're fasting for Parker again tomorrow. He's grown so much since we last saw you. I can't believe he had 16 seizures in 4 hours. No wonder he's sleeping to peacefully. Thanks for putting up pictures. Thanks for writing. I'm thinking of you guys constantly.
