My favorite scripture is Prov. 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and He shall direct your paths. That is the first scripture I ever memorized. What is you favorite scripture or quote?

Nathan Hatch Mine is a scripture in Doctrine and Covenants that has been a beacon to me in every difficult time I've ever had. D&C 121:7-8
    7 My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;
8 And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes

Rachel Remund Kunz You're amazing Ashley Drury Swenson!
Ether 12:27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.

Bryn Dean Trust is my favorite, too. Its the one I have my kids memorize first. You got tons of trust and faith, girl. Hang in there.

Tiffany A. Winkel Nutter John 14:18

  2. Liana Lindeman D&C 123:17 Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed.

    Abby Schulz Stephens Isaiah 41:10
Fear not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Marne Prettyman Eggleston Romans 8 - " 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

Abby Schulz Stephens That one has been my favorite since high school when I was going through I difficult time. It has always brought me comfort, no matter what I have gone through.

Michelle Neilson Tyler You amaze me at your ability to focus on Scriptures and faith and being grateful in a difficult time! Mine is -" 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14: 27)"

Cindy Little I have two favorites - 2 Corinthians 5:7. "For we walk by faith, not by sight." And, Luke 1:37. "With God, nothing shall be impossible."

Jenny Forston Baker My two favorite scriptures are:

    2 Nephi 31:20
Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.

    D&C 14:7
And, if you keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life, which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.

  3. Jon Birrell My favorite scripture is: 1 Nephi 3:7...."I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

Melody Clayton Mosiah 4: 9-12 - 9 Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend.
10 And again, believe that ye must repent of your sins and forsake them, and humble yourselves before God; and ask in sincerity of heart that he would forgive you; and now, if you believe all these things see that ye do them.
11 And again I say unto you as I have said before, that as ye have come to the knowledge of the glory of God, or if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and have received a remission of your sins, which causeth such exceedingly great joy in your souls, even so I would that ye should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God, and your own nothingness, and his goodness and long-suffering towards you, unworthy creatures, and humble yourselves even in the depths of humility, calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come, which was spoken by the mouth of the angel.
12 And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.

Kelley Drury Birrell I have so many, but I really like Proverbs 3:5-6, too.

Amy Ward Mosiah 2:41 ...consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness.
